Tanga is Tanzania’s second largest seaport and home to Amboni Sisal Properties Ltd, a spin-off of the world’s largest sisal producer in the 70’s, that continues growing one of the most sought after sisal today.
Amboni Sisal Properties Ltd (ASPL) has its primary activities focused on land development through sale of master planned and serviced land properties in Tanga, Kibaha and Mbeya regions.
The company also runs an eco-tourism project in Magoroto Estate Tanga where high value spices such as vanilla, cardamom, black pepper and cloves are also farmed.
ABL lies on the pristine beach along the Tanga coastline. The company is involved in hospitality where it runs Kingfisher resort. ABL is also involved in agriculture where it farms the very first biological Aloe Vera barbadensis plantation on a commercial scale in Eastern Africa.
TFL runs Oasis Village and club which, is a members only recreational facility with high standard amenities. The club is located in a secured complex in Mbezi Beach, a walking distance from the beach. The club offers a wide range of outdoor and indoor sports, fitness and health facilities.
